Why should I start exercising?
Just the simple act of getting up and moving around in between study breaks and homework assignments is known to improve your ability to focus and grasp the content better. Exercise is known to reduce resistance to insulin and increase the release of growth factors including the growth of brain cells. Exercise also decreases anxiety and stress and improves sleep and behavior which leads to an improvement in memory and thinking skills. So start exercising because it can really improve your memory and it's a great way to take a break from studying.

What type of exercise is best to improve memory?
Imagine if you just increased that to implementing moderate-intensity exercises into your daily routine? Moderate-intensity exercises were proven to improve cognitive skills greater than any other form of exercise. And this doesn't mean that you have to go to the gym. Moderate-intensity exercises consist of riding a bike, dancing, brisk walking, hiking, etc. And the recommended amount is 150 minutes a week. You can just divide this amount and incorporate it into your study breaks.
